ASIP Trainee Scholar Awards

To promote the entry young scientists into the mainstream of the basic/translational/clinical science community and to encourage the participation of young investigative pathologists in ASIP events, the American Society for Investigative Pathology offers a robust trainee scholar awards program.

Trainee Scholar Awards highlights excellence in research and helps offset travel expenses for ASIP Trainee members (Undergraduate Students, Pre- and Post-doctoral Trainees) to attend the ASIP Annual Meeting and the Pathobiology for Investigators, Students, and Academicians (PISA) Meeting. The ASIP Scientific Review Committee for the meeting/conference selects recipients based on their scientific abstracts. Abstracts are selected for presentation in poster sessions and/or minisymposium. Please note that those applying for an ASIP Trainee Scholar Awards for the ASIP Annual Meeting MUST submit their abstract(s) to an ASIP topic categories.
