Membership

The A.D. Sobel – ASIP Education Fund Scholar Awards support the education and training of young investigative pathologists at the ASIP Annual Meeting. The awards, presented for the top ten scientific abstracts submitted by ASIP trainees for the Pathobiology Annual Meeting, provide stipends, and Certificates of Achievement. These abstracts MUST be submitted to ASIP topic category.

Eligibility and Requirements:

• Be an ASIP Trainee Member (Undergraduate Student, Pre-Doctoral Trainee, Post-Doctoral Fellow or Medical Student) in good standing at the time of application submission and through the dates of the conference.

• Submit an abstract to Pathobiology 2027 by the established deadline.

• The award applicant must be the first author of the abstract.

• Register for Pathobiology 2027 by the established deadline for awardees.

• A current copy of your Curriculum Vitae (CV) or resume.

• A Letter of Recommendation from your supervisor.

• A copy of your submitted abstract

Attendance during the full meeting is mandatory. The Trainee Scholar award will be rescinded if the awardee is not present.
