- A.D. Sobel Trainee Scholar Award Fund was established by Mark Sobel, ASIP's Executive Officer Emeritus, to perpetuate his late father's lifelong interest in supporting education and training for young scientists. Funds will be used to support education and mentorship of trainee members of the ASIP.

- Dani and Erik Zander Junior Faculty Scholar Award Fund was established to promote the participation of early career investigators in scientific meetings and conferences. The award recognizes the outstanding research being conducted by ASIP Regular and Next-Generation Scientist members who are employed as Junior Faculty at institutions around the world. The awardee is selected on the basis of early career productivity and the scientific merit of the submitted abstract.

- Fred Sanfilippo ASIP Visiting Lectureship Program provides funding for ASIP members who are in the early stages of their academic careers to travel and visit other departments/institutions to give one or more research presentations as a distinguished visiting lecturer. The primary goal of this program is to provide exposure of promising young faculty to members of the larger pathobiology research community, increasing their national recognition and reputation. Sanfilippo-ASIP Visiting Lecturers will benefit from both the national exposure provided and interactions with faculty at the host institution which may result in new collaborations that will advance research endeavors at both institutions and may generate other beneficial long-term relationships such as distance mentoring within their chosen field of study.

- GALL Trainee Scholar Award Fund for Excellence in Cardiovascular Research was established by ASIP member Dr. Jonathon Homeister, in honor of his mentors in the field of cardiovascular pathology. The fund name is derived from the first initials of his mentor's last names: Dr. David Gordon, Dr. Gerald Abrams, Dr. Benedict Lucchesi, and Dr. John Lowe. Candidates for the GALL Trainee Scholar Award Fund for Excellence in Cardiovascular Research should submit an abstract to an ASIP Topic Category along with a award application. The awardee will be chosen on the basis of excellence in cardiovascular pathobiology research.

- George K. Michalopoulos Junior Faculty Scholar Award Fund is made possible by the generous support of the George K. Michalopoulos Family. Officially launched in October 2016 at the PISA 2016 Meeting in Houston, TX, the George K. Michalopoulos Junior Faculty Scholar Award (formerly known as the ASIP Junior Faculty Travel Award) is offered to promote the participation of early career investigators in scientific meetings and conferences. The fund will be awarded to an ASIP trainee member who submits an abstract as first author to the annual meeting that presents outstanding research on the underlying molecular and cellular mechanisms of inflammation in general or inflammatory disease.
