These articles were compiled in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and showcase The American Journal of Pathology’s leadership in this area. Notably, AJP has published four Theme Issues centering on breast cancer. The two most recent are the Breast Cancer Ductal Carcinoma In Situ Theme Issue, published in May 2019, and the Tumor Microenvironment in Breast Cancer Theme Issue, which appeared in August 2021. The first and last articles in this compendium are Guest Editorials that will introduce the content of the Theme Issues. This compendium also includes recent original research studies and two Review Articles that discuss cutting-edge topics in the field. All papers in this collection are available without charge.
