As a scientific society working in the life sciences, the health and safety of our attendees, staff, and vendors remain our top priority. The ASIP will not require attendees or vendors to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination in order to attend the Leadership Academy. However, we strongly encourage all attendees to follow the safety and masking recommendations issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, and state and local health authorities to mitigate the possibility of COVID-19 exposure while at the Leader Academy.
If masking, vaccination, or social distancing requirements are later implemented by the State of Maryland, Montgomery County Maryland, or the City of Rockville, all attendees, staff, and vendors will be notified in writing of these changes.
COVID-19 can be contracted anywhere and at any time. If you experience COVID-19 symptoms prior to traveling to the Leadership Academy, please contact Lisa McFadden (Lmcfadden@asip.org) or William Coleman (wbcoleman@asip.org) and remain at home. Likewise, if you experience COVID-19 symptoms while at the Leadership Academy, please self-isolate and contact Lisa McFadden or William Coleman.
