The American Journal of Pathology (Impact Factor: 5.770) has always been a home for research investigating the pathogenesis and mechanisms of diseases of the eye and the Editors are pleased to be introducing a dedicated topic category to Ocular Pathobiology. The Editors of AJP are seeking original manuscripts for consideration and inclusion in the inaugural issue for the Ocular Pathobiology topic category.
Successful submissions will adhere to Regular Article or Short Communication manuscript requirements. Authors are encouraged to consult the AJP website for information related to scope of the Journal and full Instructions to Authors. Case reports will not be considered.
Manuscript submissions will undergo full editorial evaluation and external peer review and acceptance is not guaranteed.
All manuscripts accepted for publication will appear online ahead of print as an Article in Press. The scheduling of the Ocular Pathology inaugural issue will be decided based on the timeline of accepted content and shared with authors as soon as it becomes available.
Manuscripts that are submitted by November 30th that are ultimately accepted for publication will be published at the ASIP member rate, almost a 50% savings from the regular publication rate. Any Ocular Pathobiology submissions received after November 30th will be subject to full publication charges.
Submissions to The American Journal of Pathology are free and can be completed online here: https://www.editorialmanager.com/ajpa/default1.aspx. Please contact the editorial office at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
