To promote the participation of undergraduate students in scientific meetings and conferences, the American Society for Investigative Pathology (ASIP) offers scholar awards and summer research opportunities.
Undergraduate students are eligible to apply for many of the ASIP Trainee Scholar Awards that are available for pre- and post-doctoral trainees.
In addition, they are eligible to apply for a specific Undergraduate Student Scholar Award that recognizes excellence in pathobiology research as well as for mentored summer research opportunities.
