Eligible candidates will be a Regular or Next Generation member of the ASIP and employed as an entry level tenure-track or non-tenure track academic faculty positions (assistant professor or equivalent) or similar positions in non-academic institutions (government, industry, or biotech). To establish eligibility, a letter of support from a Department Chair or Supervisor attesting to the career rank of the applicant should be provided. In addition, the candidate should provide a statement of interest (1-page or less) that describes leadership training the candidate has already had, how the candidate anticipates benefiting from the training, and whether the candidate will have departmental/institutional financial support to attend.
Applications will be accepted beginning August 1, 2022. Deadline for application: August 31, 2022. Selected participants will be notified on a rolling basis. The training event is limited to forty participants.
