Trainee Milestones & Updates

Dissertation Title: Elucidating the Role of Translocator Protein in Prostate Cancer: Implications as a Therapeutic Target for Advanced Disease

Future plans: After graduating, I will be taking a postdoctoral position in the laboratory of Dr. Reza Zarnegar where I will be working on elucidating the molecular mechanisms of hepatocellular carcinoma progression. This fall I will also be teaching a Microbiology course. My long term goal is to obtain an academic position that will allow me to continue to do research as well as teach.
