ASIP Under-represented Groups (URG) Trainee Travel Award

The Deadline to apply is May 31, 2014

The American Society for Investigative Pathology (ASIP) in partnership with the FASEB MARC Program, is offering a limited number of ASIP Under-represented Groups Trainee Travel Awards to ASIP trainee members who submit an abstract to the meeting AND who meet the special eligibility requirements that are dictated by the FASEB MARC Program. Requirements:

1. Trainee membership in ASIP

2. Meet the citizenship/residency requirements of the FASEB MARC Program

3. Submit an abstract to the 2nd Joint Meeting of Pathology and Laboratory Diagnostics by May 31, 2014

4. Submit an application for an ASIP URG Trainee Travel Award by May 31, 2014

  • You will be asked to submit your Abstract Confirmation Number
  • You will be asked to electronically submit a copy of your submitted abstract as part of the application process
  • You will be asked for your supervisor's name and contact information
  • You will need a letter from your supervisor

5. Warning: This program is supported by a grant from NIGMS and we are required to follow specific rules for travel reimbursement. If your application for an ASIP Under-represented Groups Trainee Travel Award is approved, you will receive specific instructions concerning your travel arrangements.


A.D. Sobel - ASIP Education Fund Scholar Awards to Attend the 2nd Joint Meeting of Pathology and Laboratory Diagnostics

The Deadline to apply is May 31, 2014

The American Society for Investigative Pathology will provide a limited number of A. D. Sobel - ASIP Education Fund Travel Awards to ASIP trainee members who submit an abstract to the 2nd Joint Meeting of Pathology and Laboratory Diagnostics. Awardees will receive a $750 Travel Award.
