The Società Italiana di Patologia e Medicina Traslazionale (SIPMeT) has a very old and prestigious tradition. Founded in 1901 by Pio Foa and Benedetto Morpugo, among its early members was Camillo Golgi, the first Italian Nobel Prize awardee (1906).
Over 200 of the more recognized Italian and foreign researchers in the field of General Pathology (the science that studies the mechanisms of disease) will meet in Udine to analyze the relationship between inflammation and cancer, autoimmune diseases, and atherosclerosis-based cardiovascular diseases. Abstracts are invited on these and additional topic categories.
We welcome you to attend the XXXI Congress of the Società Italiana di Patologia e Medicina Traslazionale: a perfect combination of tradition and frontiers of Science.
