Biosketch:
Kevin A
Roth received his B.S. degree (Behavioral Science) in 1979 from the University
of Michigan followed by M.D. and Ph.D. (Neurosciences) degrees from Stanford
University School of Medicine in 1985. After residency training in anatomic
pathology and a neuropathology fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis,
he was appointed in 1989 to the faculty in the Departments of Pathology and
Immunology and Molecular Biology and Pharmacology at
Washington
University and was subsequently promoted to Professor in 2001. Since 2002, Dr.
Roth has been a Professor of Pathology and Director of the Division of
Neuropathology at the
University
of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. In addition to his research,
clinical and teaching responsibilities, Dr. Roth is an Associate Editor for the
American Journal of Pathology and the Journal of Histochemistry and
Cytochemistry.
