Experimental Pathologist-In-Training Award (EPIT) and Merit Awards
The EPIT is a prestigious award presented by the Society to those individuals who have excelled in their investigative efforts as trainees in studying mechanisms of disease.  The award includes: a certificate of achievement presented at the 2003 Annual Meeting Awards Presentation on Monday, April 14, presentation of the winning abstract at the Experimental Biology 2003 Meeting and a $1,000 honorarium.  In addition, one Merit Award of $750 each will be awarded to the best abstract from a graduate student and from a postdoctoral trainee.  Each applicant must be a trainee member of ASIP. Trainee Travel Awards
To promote the entry of young scientists into the mainstream of the basic science community and to encourage the participation of young investigative pathologists in the Annual Meeting, the American Society for Investigative Pathology is offering a limited number of Trainee Travel Awards of $500 each to offset travel expenses to the Experimental Biology 2003 Meeting.  Application Form

ASIP Minority Trainee Travel Awards

To promote the entry of under-represented minority scientists and minority-serving institutions into the mainstream of the basic science community and to encourage the participation of young investigative pathologists in the Annual Meeting, the American Society for Investigative Pathology is offering a limited number of Minority Travel Awards of $500 each to offset travel expenses to the Experimental Biology 2003 Meeting.  Application Form
