Path to Publish - the monthly AJP newsletter

The American Journal of Pathology is always looking to expand and update our reviewer pool.  If you are interested in becoming a reviewer for AJP please head over to EVISE to create a user profile.  If you already have an account in any Elsevier online product (Scopus, Mendeley, ScienceDirect) you can use the same username and password for EVISE.  Be sure to add or update the keywords and expertise terms associated with your account.  Editors use these when searching for topically relevant reviewers on newly submitted manuscripts.  We hope to request your assistance in the near future!

Manuscript Prep

Legibility is key!  Text and labels in figure images need to be sized and spaced so that they are easy to read.  Figures should be prepared so that all labels are crisp and large enough to be understood by the reader.  Avoid having to re-work your images by ensuring that clarity and resolution are addressed in initial preparation.
