Path to Publish - the monthly AJP newsletter
The American Journal of Pathology has some figure preparation tips for our authors! Be sure check the Journal’s Instructions to Authors for acceptable file formats. Browsing through published articles will also give you examples of what the journal looks for in presentation and arrangement. Be extra careful when composing your blot images! Measure twice, cut once, and be very clear in the figure legends about how the final images were compiled if lanes are taken from multiple blots.

The American Journal of Pathology is currently conducting a search for its next Editor in Chief? Check your print version of the Journal for the full ad, also available online here. Qualified applicants will need a strong history with experimental and investigative pathology, along with the organizational skills to evaluate and process manuscripts in a timely fashion. A history with AJP as a reviewer, author, or editorial board member is also beneficial. Interested candidates should send a letter of intent to Managing Editor Emily Essex (EEssex@asip.org) for further information and instruction.
