Path to Publish - the monthly AJP newsletter
The American Journal of Pathology
has made the switch to EVISE.  As of January 1, 2017 AJP is no longer taking new submissions or revisions via Rapid Review.  We thank all our authors for their patience in this transition, especially the authors who are submitting revisions on manuscripts that were previously reviewed in the old system.  Check the upcoming issue of ASIP Pathways for a full write-up on making the switch.

Free Access to Scopus?

There is a benefit to agreeing to review a manuscript for The American Journal of Pathology now that we are in the EVISE system.  Individuals who agree to review a manuscript are extended a complimentary 30 day free subscription to Scopus!

Did you know…

The American Journal of Pathology is no longer requiring a $50 submission and processing fee on new manuscripts?  This requirement has been removed beginning January 2017 with our switch to EVISE.  We hope authors will be encouraged to submit their work for consideration now that there aren’t any up-front fees prior to submission.

As a waiver of this fee was currently offered as a member benefit to ASIP Regular members, we are currently in discussions on how to replace this benefit with something new.  Stay tuned for an upcoming announcement of the new member benefit!  Not yet a member?
