ASIP Rous-Whipple Award

The ASIP Rous-Whipple Award is presented to a senior scientist with a distinguished career in research who has advanced the understanding of disease and has continued productivity at the time of this award. Awardees will receive an honorarium and a plaque and will present a lecture at the ASIP Annual Meeting that will form the basis of a publication in The American Journal of Pathology. IMPORTANT: There is no age eligibility requirement for this award however prior experience suggests that most successful awardees will be 50+ years old at the time of nomination. Nominations for the 2010 award require: 1) three letters of recommendation, including at least two from ASIP members; 2) the candidate's curriculum vitae including bibliography; and 3) ASIP membership in good standing for at least five (5) years prior to nomination
